By the end of 2018, the Belgian pme intoPIX had become one of the most innovative players in the image and video compression industry worldwide. But apart from the industry insiders, very few people knew the company.
Meanwhile they the team was heading for a new milestone: the launch of JPEG XS at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. intoPIX was looking for a partner to communicate the launch of this revolutionary ISO compression standard.
At LVTPR we know a good story when we see one, so we advised intoPIX to think bigger. Why not use this occasion to paint a much wider corporate picture via the Belgian media? That of a small Belgian player that is creating baffling technology which hugely impacts various sexy industries like virtual reality, cinema, drones and self-driving cars.
After an extensive CES media lobby, which generated nice coverage in Trends and La Libre Belgique, LVTPR also organized an ‘intoPIX Media Day’ in Belgium. During that day, journalists heared the broader story intoPIX as an innovator and employer. Despite the tight timings, and thanks to a smooth collaboration with the client, we brought the big guns: a press release, a press kit in three languages and a media training session for all four intoPIX spokes.
The ROI was huge, with over sixty high quality clippings, such as RTL TVI, Canal Z / Kanaal Z, Le Soir and Data News. A big boost for IntoPIX’ awareness and image, both on the business and the recruitment market. And meanwhile, the current employees became even prouder of their company than they already were.
