Your death is something you’d rather not think about. Especially when you’ve just had a baby. Nor would you want to think about your partner’s death, and you particularly don’t want to think about your baby’s death. Which makes it extra important to make sure that your goodbye is well-prepared. Just in case something does happen to you. Monuta, provider of funeral services and insurance, is more than aware of that. And to other make people aware of the importance as well, Monuta approached LVTPR. How do you bring such a difficult theme to the attention of young mothers?
Our advice was to go with an influencer campaign, which was based on our previous experience and Monuta’s goals. The main reason? No one is in a better position to communicate this message than young mothers themselves. And so we used our dedicated influencer tool to challenge mommy bloggers to come up with creative ways to provide their followers with food for thought.
The influencers chose a personal angle to communicate how important it is to think about your or a family member’s goodbye. Blogposts and social media content from mommy bloggers like City Mom and Kleine Rotterdammer quickly ensured that the topic became top-of-mind among their followers. The fourteen blogposts and numerous social media posts had a total reach of more than half a million people and 1,500 interactions.
Using influencers to fuel the conversation about the confrontational topic , made sure the target group realized that the right time to think about your goodbye and its financial requirements is now. And that’s exactly what Monuta wanted to achieve when it joined forces with LVTPR!
