Every two years, the Bouwbeurs – the biggest Dutch fair for construction professionals – is held. Our client Bosch Power Tools and Accessories was present with a massive stand and demos of the latest product innovations. This was the perfect moment to create local Facebook content and ‘live’ engagement with the Bosch brotherhood – a community of construction professionals that use Bosch Blue tools. Except… not all construction professionals have got the time to make it to the Bouwbeurs.
So Bosch asked LVTPR: how do you let these people have the same experience from behind a screen as the people who attended the fair in real life?
Correct: with a 360 degree social media video. Right before the fair opened, a drone flew across the Bosch stand to capture spectacular photos and the great atmosphere.
We posted this 360 degree video on Bosch’s Facebook page and also distributed it among the fair’s visitors in thank you emails – in Bosch’s name of course. In total, the video gained 75,013 views, 544 comments and shares, and it contributed to the Bouwbeurs’ total reach of 283,462. On top of the 75,000 people that visited the fair this year. Fixed!
