In the summer of 2018, Sonos introduced the wireless home sound system Beam, a smart and neat soundbar for your home. During the product introduction it was important for us to do more than just develop brand awareness for this new product. More than anything else, we wanted to position Beam as a comfy roommate everyone can enjoy.  

Right after the introduction of Beam, the Sonos Home in Amsterdam – a house Sonos rented on the Singel to optimally experience the Sonos vibe – was transformed for the music video of Faberyayo (De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig) and Abel. The music video would accompany the song called ‘Online Shoppen’, from the album Comfy Season.

LVTPR jumped at this opportunity: during a full weekend in September we celebrated fall – the ultimate comfy season – with media and friends of the brand.  

On Thursday, we hosted an intimate dinner for selected press, followed by a festive get-together for friends, family and media the next day. Thanks to our extensive network in the (music) industry, our lobby led to a comfy Sonos Home filled with influencers and other media, who were able to experience the Beam in its full glory. Whether they were gaming in a bubble bath, or lounging on a pink fluffy bed. The comfy season was brought to life with the new Beam. And that paid off!
