What really brings families together? That’s right, a party! Or even better: a gaming party. A perfect idea to bring together the objectives of two of our customers: Nintendo and Sonos. Consumer electronics and video game company Nintendo wanted to generate awareness, especially among moms and children, for its new family games on the Nintendo Switch: Super Mario Party and Nintendo Labo 03: Vehicle Kit. Sonos aimed to do the same with its smart soundbar Beam and wanted to make the product more popular among families. To reach these two goals, we decided to organize a mommy influencer get-together. Because of our extensive media network relating to the target group – resulting from projects like the Noppies and iCandy events – we were able to make the event happen in no time.
We invited relevant mommy influencers and media to visit a majestic mansion in Amsterdam. With or without their children. They were provided with drinks, cake and snacks. But the stars of the evening were the different Nintendo games the guests were able to play. From building Nintendo Labo mock-up cars to playing crazy minigames in Super Mario Party together with the whole family. The sound quality of the Sonos Beam made the experience even better and more fun. Sonos also gave a special demonstration of the Beam soundbar so that influencers and media were able to see how the device can improve every family party.
The result of this cozy family gaming party? Pictures and videos of the event on Instagram, various blogs, and review requests to try out the Nintendo Switch with the newest games and the Sonos Beam. To sum it up, our mommy influencer event made a significant contribution to the awareness of all these products. Game on!
