Finding that one rare parking space in a busy city: it’s a situation we’ve all found ourselves in. Wouldn’t it be great if there was an app that would lead you to your destination based on the biggest chance of finding a free space? Good news: it exists! It’s called EasyPark. And to bring attention to this new functionality, Find & Park, EasyPark asked for LVTPR’s help. Luckily, we knew just how to do that!
Sweden, EasyPark’s country of origin, had already discovered that the app could you help you significantly reduce the time spent looking for a parking space. And this was exactly the angle we needed to pitch our story to the media. Which we did in two different ways.
First, we lobbied with national and local media from an entrepreneurship and pioneering point of view of EasyPark as an organization. We also made sure to steer toward the innovative side of the app in the press release. We distributed the press release among our rich database of tech, innovation, news and lifestyle media.
And the results were impressive. The Country Manager was able to tell his story on BNR Nieuwsradio. Dutch Cowboys, Talkies Man, and Androidworld featured the app in their articles, and Elsevier created two great articles about EasyPark in general. In short: EasyPark has found its place at LVTPR.
