IFS is a worldwide supplier of enterprise software. It has a special team working at IFS Labs that focuses on the newest technologies and innovations. IFS HQ organized a worldwide IFS Labs tour to inform the press about the many innovations the company is working on. The venue for the Dutch edition was the Military Museum in Soest. LVTPR was asked to drive attention among relevant media for IFS’ innovations. Our target was to have five relevant journalists attend the press event.
In our press lobby, we focused on three different segments: the IT trade press, media that write about Service & Maintenance and general press. Thanks to our excellent media contacts we succeeded in welcoming seven (!) journalists at the event.
During the press event, a PR consultant accompanied the journalists throughout the day. Part of the program took place in an old Fokker airplane that is parked on the museum grounds. A genuine boarding pass gave access to the plane, that offered the perfect setting for presentations full of innovations. Journalists also had the opportunity interview the CEO and other C level managers. LVTPR also accompanied these interviews.
The result of this innovative day: various (print) articles in Computable, ICT Magazine, iMaintain and Supply Chain Management, and a very satisfied customer!
