PLUS supermarkets has committed to selling free-range and organic eggs exclusively. And we mainly have the chickens to thank for that, of course. Reason enough to come up with a special press event: a chicken concert.
The Saturday before Easter, 2016. At one of the supplier’s chicken farms, Dutch singer Ellen ten Damme and a string quartet performed a selection of the St. Matthew Passion. Right there, surrounded by chickens.
As it turns out, research shows that music has a calming effect on chickens. Which in turn results in better eggs. It’s a win-win!
The result of this press event? Thanks to a great collaboration with the customer, PLUS’ other agencies and a smooth execution of the plan, we were able to involve the most important media target groups in PLUS’ sensible message. It all came down to collaboration, creativity and interest!
