Sonos, manufacturer of wireless music systems, used that idea as the basis for developing a new revolutionary soundbar: the PLAYBASE. This round speaker was designed to be placed invisibly underneath your TV. The result: an immersive home cinema sound from the slimmest and most beautiful speaker the brand ever created.
What does this have to do with a PR agency like LVTPR? Well, let us explain. Sonos asked us to introduce the speaker to lifestyle and tech media. LVTPR has been Sonos’ PR agency for more than ten years, so the introduction wouldn’t be a problem.
We rented an amazing AirBnB living room in both Amsterdam as well as Antwerpen. In that living room, we offered thirty media and influencers an exclusive preview of the PLAYBASE. We hosted tech media in the morning, and lifestyle media in the afternoon. This way, we were able to gear our message to the various interests.
These types of lifestyle events are essential in creating a strong relationship with the people who are so important to our client. And so it wasn’t surprising that this event resulted in multiple PLAYBASE publications in a variety of tech and lifestyle media throughout the Benelux.
