How can we describe our customer Meridion? It’s a gem of a company – if we may say so – specialized in compliance and certification processes. It definitely doesn’t deliver a one–size–fits–all solution! Anyone who has looked at their website in the past came across a typical start-up website. An image which reflects nor Meridion, nor their other channels such as blogs, social media and customer cases. The focus of all communication had to be brought back on track with the desired image, with no time to lose. LVTPR assisted Meridion in building a new website from a to z.
The first step: a messaging session to determine the message and target groups. Because why and how do you deliver the services you provide? We also discussed the wishes, expectations and plans Meridion has in terms of communication, marketing and image. These results, combined with a competition analysis, form the basis of the website, namely the design, the copy and the layout.
We decided to restyle the Meridion logo and three so-called style tiles. A style tile contains various elements, such as colors, typography, design, image, textures and UI elements. Each tile was given a different look and feel. This way we could see the best match for the new website at one glance. Of course we made sure to adapt the copy to this.
The selected style tile formed the starting point for the interaction design and visual design. To limit the costs and lead time, we created the wireframe and prototype in modern UI design and presentation tools. This enabled Meridion to provide online feedback quick and easily.
