Spotify, you’ve probably heard of it. Literally. The music service was collaborating with our client Sonos and had asked to help them bring this intense collaboration to everyone’s attention.
The theme was Friendmas, or Third Christmas Day. A theme that’s all about sharing food and music at Christmas parties with friends. That’s why we used local storytelling. We organized three so-called Potluck Playlist dinners (two in Amsterdam and one in Brussels).
At a very special location: the kitchen of a famous chef. And this chef cooked up a storm for the invited media. In the meantime, music that was selected by the guests themselves played over the Sonos speakers. Never has a brand activation been so tasty.
25 invited lifestyle media tucked right in. From several popular magazines to national dailies – Sonos and Spotify were happy to see over forty publications, just in time for Christmas 2016. Rock on!
