Legendary outdoor brand The North Face approached LVTPR to take on a large sports marketing and PR assignment. Goal: to bring the brand’s technical image to life by telling people the stories behind the brand, and letting them experience the brand.
Because the brand was temporarily lacking a PR manager in 2014, we became the main PR agency for The North Face in all of Europe. Which was awesome, of course.
But if you realize that we had to organize European press events during the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc in Switzerland, the Lavaredo Ultra Trail in Lavaredo, Italy, and the Kalymnos climbing festival in Greece – which were all sponsored by the North Face – you’ll understand it was very challenging. We took journalists from a variety of countries to go skiing, running and climbing and allowed them to truly experience the North Face brand.
Today, we still work for the North Face in the Benelux. And so far, we haven’t run out of inspiring stories yet.
