News | LVTPR Belgium welcomes two new Junior PR consultants

PR and communications advice agency LVTPR is expanding the Belgian team with two new Junior PR consultants: Alix Ostyn (24) and Charlotte Van Acker (25). Alix is joining the Consumer & Brands team, while Charlotte will be focusing on the Business & Technology clients.

“LVTPR Belgium has grown a lot over the past few years,” says Karolien Hessels, Managing Director of LVTPR Belgium. “Things have been moving quickly lately. Compared to several years ago, we have doubled our number of employees. I’m proud to see we’re growing so quickly, and I’m convinced that this trend will be continued in the years to come. With the addition of Alix and Charlotte, we can support our clients even better, and offer services from A to Z.”

Alix Ostyn
After finishing her master’s degree in Linguistics and Literature at Ghent University, Alix went on to study Innovation & Strategic Management at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management. Upon finishing this advanced master’s degree, she applied for an intern position at Henkel as Corporate Communications Assistant, where she focused on internal communication. At LVTPR, Alix will be working for Consumer & Brands clients, including HelloFresh, iCandy, Logitech, Transcontinenta and SWAROVSKI OPTIK.

Charlotte Van Acker
Charlotte graduated with a master’s degree in German Language and Literature from Ghent University, which she followed up with a master’s degree in European Studies. Next, she gained job experience during an internship with European Parliament member Tom Vandenkendelaere, where she maintained press and media relations. As a Junior B2B marketer at Cantab Marketing Services in Ghent, Charlotte was introduced to the IT branch. She’ll be expanding this knowledge at LVTPR Belgium. Charlotte will be supporting clients like BSA, Cellularline, Honeywell, Veeam and XXImo.

Thorough, dedicated training programs
Karolien Hessels: “At LVTPR, we believe it’s important to provide juniors with a good start on the job market. Every junior receives a quick but thorough training via our internal LVT Academy. This program will teach them the details of account management, finance and written communication. And they’ll learn all about social media advertising, blogging and crisis communications. This way, they’re off to a flying start within the LVT Group as well as the PR industry. Once they’ve gained more experience, they’ll able to participate in consulting courses and masterclasses, also provided by the LVT Academy.”
